Some wedding days feel special and then there are wedding days where you just know the stars aligned.

Andy and Morgan’s wedding on Saturday, December 13th was absolutely one of those days.

For me, it was extra meaningful because their wedding took place at what I lovingly call my home venue, The Wedding Barn at L’Horne. This is where I photographed my very first wedding, where I host many of my mini sessions, and where Andy and Morgan’s engagement session happened too. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to look back at their engagement blog. It is a favorite.

As if that wasn’t magical enough, the weather decided to show off. After a week of freezing temperatures, Saturday arrived with perfect 70 degree, partly cloudy skies. Trust me, everyone soaked up every second of that beautiful Middle Georgia winter day.

A Morning Full of Laughter

The morning set the tone for the entire day.

Andy spent the early hours laughing with his groomsmen, college football playing on the big screen as jokes and excitement filled the room.

Just two doors down, Morgan and her girls were getting ready, and you could hear their laughter echoing through the barn. It was contagious in the very best way. Her bridesmaids helped with hair, steamed her dress, and made sure every detail was perfect.

Morgan shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids, followed by an emotional first look with her father while her mother looked on. And then it was time.

The Moment Everyone Was Waiting For

Andy stood waiting for Morgan during their first look, and I swear you could practically hear his heart pounding as he waited for her to tap his shoulder. That moment was raw, emotional, and completely genuine.

Soon after, guests arrived, vows were exchanged, and Andy and Morgan officially said I do.

Dinner was catered by Georgia Bob’s, and the couple cut into their delicious bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

The rest of the evening was filled with mingling, laughter, and dancing the night away with their closest friends and family. The night ended with a special final dance and a glowing sparkler send off that wrapped up the day beautifully.

Andy and Morgan’s wedding day was heartfelt, joyful, and full of so much love. It was an absolute honor to capture every moment of their story, from their engagement session to their sparkler sendoff.

I wish these two nothing but a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and love.
