Let me set the scene for you. Picture this: Toccoa Falls, one of Georgia's hidden gems, serves as the backdrop for an intimate and laid-back celebration of love. As a wedding photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque location than Toccoa Falls.
But before we dive into the main event, let's rewind a bit. You see, this wedding held a special place in my heart because I've had the pleasure of photographing not one, but two weddings for the Mason family. Talk about a family affair! Now, back to Brittany and Taylor. The day started with them getting ready in two cozy Airbnbs right next to each other. Talk about convenience! This made capturing those intimate moments and detail shots an absolute breeze.
Their wedding color palette? Sage green with pops of cream and blush. Perfection in every detail, if you ask me. And speaking of perfection, Toccoa Falls College provided the most breathtaking backdrop for their vows. Fun fact: Toccoa Falls stands at a staggering 186 feet, making it one of the tallest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. Impressive, right?
But the real magic happened when it was time for portraits. Trust me when I say, Brittany and Taylor's love truly shines through every frame.
While the newlyweds stole away for some private moments, their guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour at Copey Creek Farms. And let me tell you, the dinner was a feast for the senses.
As the evening unfolded, emotions ran high during heartfelt toasts, and the dance floor was alive with joy and laughter. But one moment that truly stood out to me was when Taylor surprised Brittany with a video of their adventures together. Cue the happy tears!
