Cory & Sarah's Love Story | Georgia Wedding Photographer

I first met Cory and Sarah at their engagement session and they are such a fun couple! They both love the outdoors, so we met at Rotary Park in Perry, Georgia, and had a fantastic time walking the little trails.

It was there I learned that the two of them met at their jobs. Cory is a police officer and Sarah is in animal control. One day there was an incident involving an animal, and being the gentleman that Cory is, he refused to leave the scene until he was positive that Sarah was safe and sound. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

Their wedding was every autumn lover’s dream! It was held at The Hitchcock Barn in Tennille, Georgia, which is the perfect venue for a rustic wedding. One of my favorite features of The Barn was the crumbling fireplace. I absolutely loved how Cory and Sarah tied everything together. From the rich tones of the bridesmaids’ dresses against the florals to the style of details that they chose, it all looked perfect. We were even able to take the bride and groom portraits right at sunset - and they turned out amazing!

One of my favorite moments of the day was watching the way Sarah held herself right before she walked down the aisle. She was so confident and beautiful. She fluffed her dress, looked up at Cory, and walked straight to him. It was dazzling.

Something I decided to do at the end of the night was have all of the guests get their cell phones out to create a spotlight for the couple to walk into after their exit. The wedding guests had a blast being so involved and it allowed us to get some one of a kind photos! I’ll definitely be trying that again in the future.

I’m so happy that I got to be a part of Cory and Sarah’s next chapter and I wish them the best!
