There are some engagement sessions you just look forward to, and Sarah and Aidan’s was definitely one of them. As a North Carolina engagement photographer, I absolutely love getting to photograph couples in places that already hold meaning for their wedding day, and their session was especially beautiful.
Sarah and Aidan chose their wedding venue as the location for their engagement session, which meant we got to spend the evening exploring the property, talking about their upcoming April wedding, and capturing this exciting season of their lives together.
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples before their wedding day. Sarah and Aidan are one of those couples where you can immediately tell how much they genuinely enjoy being together. Their connection, laughter, and all of those little in between moments made their North Carolina engagement session so much fun to photograph.
And then we headed out to the cliffs, where the landscape gave us an entirely different backdrop. The views were incredible, and it was the perfect setting for some of my favorite images from their session.
I love when an engagement session feels like more than simply taking photos. It becomes part of the story of the wedding day itself. Getting to photograph Sarah and Aidan at their venue gave us the chance to slow down, explore, and create beautiful images that they can look back on long after their wedding day.
Their April wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful, and I already cannot wait to see their vision come to life. As their North Carolina wedding and engagement photographer, I feel so lucky that I get to be there to document it all.
