I know I talk a lot about fairytales and love stories… but this one truly felt like it drifted right off the pages of a storybook. From the moment Jeremy and Shelby arrived holding a beautiful copy of The Princess Bride, I knew this engagement session was going to have its own kind of magic. As a Macon Georgia engagement photographer, sessions like this remind me why I adore what I do.

We began in Washington Park, one of the most charming spots in downtown Macon. The stone walls and sweet old bridges wrapped us in the most enchanting atmosphere. Everything felt soft and whimsical, like the park itself was cheering these two on. Shelby and Jeremy are the kind of couple who radiate warmth. Their smiles come easily, their laughter is contagious, and their connection brings a lightness to every moment.

They are getting married next October, and even though I wish the big day were already here, I know this year of planning is going to fly by for them. The way they look at each other makes it impossible not to imagine the beautiful celebration ahead.

After we soaked up every magical corner of the park, we wandered into downtown Macon to capture those classic urban textures that make this city so special. There is something so lovely about watching a couple simply walk side by side and fall into their own world. With Jeremy and Shelby, it happened effortlessly.
