Uniquely Beautiful Engagement Session with Kayleigh and Trevor

An estimated 380,000 couples got married in America in 2020. If you were one of those people, then you’re one of the few who can say you know what it’s like to plan a wedding during a global pandemic. I’m going to guess it wasn’t easy for you, so kudos!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of those couples’ engagement sessions at the end of May. Meet Kayleigh and Trevor!

Both Trevor and Kayleigh are in the medical field, and decided to get creative with their circumstances. They incorporated plague doctor masks into their session! Fun fact: the reason these masks have beaks is because the man who designed them thought the beak shape would give the air sufficient time to be suffused by the protective herbs before it hit doctors' nostrils.

Kayleigh and Trevor absolutely nailed the elegant but spooky look! The couple planned a Halloween wedding, and they tied the knot in October of 2020 (keep an eye out for my article about their wedding). For their session, we hiked through Helton Creek Falls in Blairsville, Georgia. This is one of my favorite locations and I recommend it to any of my clients that are looking for a magical spot to have their special moments captured.

Take a look at this amazing couple’s photos, and let me know what you think in the comments!

How cool are those masks?

These two were so much fun to photograph!

Congratulations again, Trevor and Kayleigh!
