From the moment you step inside, with its antique furnishings, sweeping staircases, and flickering chandeliers, it feels like you've been transported into a bygone era, one where love stories like Lizzie and Devin’s come to life.

The Kehoe House is consistently ranked among Savannah’s top bed and breakfasts, and it’s easy to see why. And that’s exactly what Lizzie and Devin planned.

A Morning of Laughter and Love

Lizzie spent a peaceful morning getting ready in one of the inn’s beautifully restored suites, surrounded by her mother and sister. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted with laughter, music, and the kind of joyful chaos that only comes on the happiest of days. They were singing, joking, and helping each other with the little details and I could tell right away, this was going to be such a good day.

We captured some sweet and silly getting ready moments (honestly, these are some of my favorite kinds of shots) and then I headed downstairs to meet up with Devin and his family. Just like upstairs, the excitement was contagious. Everyone was glowing with anticipation and love.

A Tearful First Look and Vows from the Heart

Before the ceremony, Lizzie shared a private first look with her dad, and oh my goodness, cue the tears. It was the kind of moment that makes you believe in the power of family, of time, of love.

Then it was time. In the front parlor of The Kehoe House, with sunlight pouring through the tall windows and the soft flicker of antique sconces on the walls, Lizzie and Devin exchanged the most heartfelt vows. They had written them themselves, and every word felt like it belonged in a love story because it did. Their story.

After the ceremony, we took to the streets of Savannah because if you’ve ever been, you know it’s a photographer’s dream. Cobblestone streets, sun-dappled squares, towering oaks wrapped in moss, and that golden southern light? Pure magic.

Lizzie looked like she walked straight out of a fairytale. And paired with Devin’s classic look and sweet smile, I was in heaven. Every frame felt like a page from a romantic novel.

Cake, Toasts, and a Perfect Ending

Back at The Kehoe House, the family toasted the newlyweds and Lizzie and Devin cut their cake, surrounded by the people who matter most. There were happy tears, clinking glasses, and lots of laughter. It was simple, heartfelt, and absolutely beautiful.
